No. The demo shows the underlying structure and possible visitor experience. Your website will use your church’s visual identity, content, images, ministries, and priorities

Yes. Designated staff members can make routine content updates through WordPress. Training is provided so your team understands the editing tasks relevant to your site.

Yes. An optional care plan includes up to two hours of routine content updates each month.

Existing content can be reviewed and transferred as part of the project. The amount included should be documented in your proposal based on the size and condition of the current site..

Existing giving and livestream services can generally be linked or embedded, depending on the provider and its available integration options..

Managed hosting, backups, security monitoring, software maintenance, and technical support can be included through an ongoing care plan.

You own your website – plain and simple. With the optional hosting plans, Sanctuary Care + Updates and Sanctuary Care Pro, domain renewal management is included. The domain registry will remain in your name. Annual domain renewal fees are included in your annual package and will be set up to be paid and renewed through us. You will not receive a separate bill. Domain Renewal Management can be added to the Sanctuary Care plan for an additional $2/ month.

Typical workflow: Church supplies content and images, Fox Valley WebSmith posts them to the website.

An update is any change to your website content – posting an event, publishing a sermon, changing staff information, adding an announcement, replacing an image, etc.

Examples of updates included:

• Post 2–3 upcoming events with dates, times, descriptions, and images
• Publish 2-3 sermon posts with title, speaker, scripture and audio/video link
• Update 2–3 ministry descriptions or program information
• Post 1–2 announcements (seasonal, fundraiser, schedule change, etc.)
• Replace staff photos or update staff bio information (1–2 staff members)
• Update service times or location information
• Change homepage featured image or welcome message

Two hours per month works best for churches with moderate communication frequency – typically posting events every 1-2 weeks and updating ministry information, service and newsletter archives or staff information.

What’s NOT included:

• Creating new pages or sections
• Designing graphics or editing photos
• Writing content from scratch (you provide finished copy)
• Video editing
• Complex form setup or automation
• Custom integrations or plugin configuration
• Redesigning existing pages
• Extensive copywriting or content strategy
• Email campaign setup or management
• Database cleanup or bulk content migration

These are quoted separately as custom development.

Normal turnaround is 3-5 business days for most requests. Unused hours do not roll over to the next month.

If your updates exceed your included hours, we track the overage. Hours are not carried forward, but we’ll notify you before going over and discuss options. For predictability, we can discuss whether a higher tier (Sanctuary Care Pro at 4 hours) might be a better fit.
